It's time to nominate members for the 2027 - 2028 Butte Sailing Club Board of Directors!
Whether you're an experienced sailor, a newer member, or someone who simply loves being part of our sailing community, your ideas and involvement matter. Members, check your email for information on the nomination process and voting.
We invite you to nominate current officers, directors, coordinators, yourself, or another BSC member in good standing who would be a thoughtful, enthusiastic contributor to our club's future. Members currently serving may be nominated for another term in their existing position or for a different position. All positions are open to both new nominations as well as incumbents.
BSC also welcomes volunteers for events, regattas, communications, website updates, facilities projects, social activities, and other club initiatives. Members may volunteer themselves or recommend another member for these opportunities. Coordinator appointments are subject to Board approval. Every contribution makes a difference!
Who Is Eligible to Vote?
All Butte Sailing Club Individual Members in good standing and adult Family Members (18 years and older) are eligible to vote in Board of Directors elections. Each eligible member may cast one ballot, including each qualifying adult within a Family Membership.
Junior Members (under 18), Associate Members, Honorary Members, and Corporate Members do not have voting privileges.
Members must be in good standing at the time of the election to participate.

- October 30: Nominations close.
- October 31–November 1: Nominee confirmation and eligibility review.
- November 2–5: Membership voting.
- November 6–8: Ballot verification and tabulation.
- November 9: Election results presented to the Board.
- Election Results: Results to be published following the November Board meeting (date TBD).

Wet Wednesdays and Super Wet WednesdaysWet Wednesday and Super Wet Wednesday club boat and trailer upgrades will continue under Phil and Greg's guidance. When the weather is nice we'll put our tools down and go sail with some unofficial coaching available for our newer sailors, rides for curious visitors and general hi-jinx.

Membership 2026Membership dues are due at the beginning of the year before you make use of the facilities. If you haven’t paid 2025 dues please get current using the Membership page.
We suggest that prospective members join us Wednesday afternoons as our guest for sailing and meeting people, and then become members in the 2026 calendar year. Questions on membership can be directed to Sabrina at membership@buttesailingclub.org |
