Fall Harvest Regatta - October 14th and 15th
The Fall Harvest Regatta will be at the South Forebay. This is something new we are trying to move to a slightly different body of water. Our experience has been better more consistent winds.

There are always amazing experiences at the forebay, that is why Butte Sailing Club calls this it's home. Light to moderate winds are common and late in the day you can always experience and interesting sunset. We have many enjoyable sailing events throughout the year, won't you join us? About the Club
We're a low-key group of sailors. We emphasize recreational sailing and club-level racing. Our boats are trailerable and range in size from ten to twenty-four feet. We emphasize that sailing should be fun. Our focus is on sailing well while helping one another. Water safety is our club's first priority.
In short, the Butte Sailing Club is a place to learn about sailing, engage in spirited racing, and enjoy one another's company both on and off the water. Consider joining us at any of our events. There is a minimal membership fee. Guests boats and crew are welcome at any event without charge. We encourage prospective members with sailboats of all types, as well as those who may be just looking at this terrific way to spend time.
Butte Sailing Club and Feather River Rowing Club are both charter organizations of the Forebay Aquatic Center, which is dedicated to helping Butte County residents affordable access to rowing and sailing sports.
If you don't have a boat, no problem. We have club boats you can check-out for no charge once you've passed one of our sailing classes.
Regardless of where you are, feel free to contact this site for help in rigging or restoring your sailboat. We have been able to help many residents of Northern California get their boats in the water.
Rule #1: Any day on the water is better than a day ashore.
Rule #2: If there is a sailing event, you have to show up...your home projects will kindly wait for your return.
Rule #3: If you don't like getting wet, don't take up sailing.
See the Sailing Safety Series page for details about safe sailing tips.
